Now welcoming both skiers and snowboarders, Blanche Takayama features technical terrain that attracts advanced riders seeking precise carving turns. Previously known as a ski-only resort, it officially opened to snowboarders in December 2025, while maintaining its high-quality slopes and quiet atmosphere.

Popular among serious skiers—including racers—this resort offers breathtaking views of the Northern Alps, along with a rare glimpse of Mount Fuji, a highlight unique to the 8 Peaks area. Families also love the relaxed setting and the casual Japanese-style food court, offering warm, comforting meals after a day on the slopes.

The Panorama Course is a popular 1,300m-long run from the summit.
With a maximum slope of 25 degrees, it’s the perfect gradient to enjoy carving turns smoothly and effortlessly!

At the summit, you can enjoy a grand panorama of Mount Fuji and the Yatsugatake mountains. Don’t miss the chance to meet the ski guardian deity there and take a moment to pray for a safe and enjoyable ski trip.

One of Blanche Takayama’s highlights is this: the Ski Jizo statue at the summit and the breathtaking panoramic viewing spot.
On a clear day, you can even see Mt. Fuji!
And for those just starting out—there’s the 2.1km-long MOMINOKI COURSE.
With an average slope of just 12 degrees, even beginners can enjoy a long, scenic run from the summit.
A long descent from the top is a great confidence booster for anyone learning to ski! 🎿😊

At the bottom of Blanche TAKAYAMA’s slopes lies WANPARK, a playground brimming with attractions. With beginner ski courses, tubing sliders, snowmobiles, and banana boats, there are countless reasons for kids to fall in love with the snow!

Right in the middle of the slopes, you’ll find Restaurant Baum, a unique dining spot housing four different restaurantsunder one roof.

A must-try dish is the Tateshina Mountain Curry, shaped like the iconic Mt. Tateshina itself. This special curry lets you enjoy both red and green curry sauces on a single plate—a flavorful and colorful experience!
