Shuttle bus between 8 Peaks and SAKUDAIRA sta.
If you take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo, you’ll arrive at Sakudaira Station in 70 to 80 minutes. From Sakudaira Station, there is a free shuttle bus to Ikenotaira Hotel, which is at the heart of 8 Peaks. You can take the shuttle if you make a reservation in advance.

After exiting the ticket gates at Sakudaira Station, please turn left. The shuttle bus pick-up area is located at the rotary just outside the Tateshina exit.
The current shuttle bus schedule between Ikenotaira Hotel and Sakudaira Station is from the 2023–2024 season. The updated timetable for the 2025–2026 season will be released around September.
Last season, there was one round trip per day, but starting this winter, there will be two daily departures, making access even more convenient. We appreciate your patience as we finalise the new timetable.

You can either take the Shinkansen departing Tokyo at 11:04 AM, arrive at Sakudaira Station a bit early, and have lunch in the area around the station before catching the shuttle bus, or have lunch in Tokyo and then catch the 12:04 PM Shinkansen from Tokyo. Both options are recommended.
The shuttle bus between 8 Peaks and Sakudaira Station is free of charge, but advance reservation is required. Please arrive at the bus stop at least 15 minutes before departure for check-in.
