A Full Onsen Experience
The hotel’s hot spring facilities include indoor and outdoor baths, saunas, and a unique mixed-gender onsen where guests wear a special “yuami” bathing garment (provided free of charge). Soak while watching the sunset or stargazing with your loved ones—no need to split into separate bath areas. There’s also a mixed sauna above the outdoor bath, along with a shallow cold bath filled with fresh spring water from Mt. Tateshina—perfect for cooling down after your sauna session.
Comfortable Rooms for Every Style
Ikenotaira Hotel offers four types of accommodation:
– Top-floor suites with spacious layouts and stunning views
– Deluxe lake-view rooms in the new main building, ideal for families
– Tatami-style rooms with twin beds in the East Wing
– Western-style rooms with 2–3 beds in the Annex
Regardless of the room type, all guests have access to the same dining and onsen facilities located in the newly renovated main building. Choose the room that suits your group and budget best.
The Hub of 8 Peaks
All shuttle buses—from Sakudaira Station, Chino Station, and even Haneda Airport—arrive at Ikenotaira Hotel. It’s also the base for ski shuttles throughout the 8 Peaks area. A Lawson convenience store is just across the road, making everything you need easily accessible.
Family-Friendly Fun
The hotel is packed with family entertainment: a bowling alley, arcade games, an indoor pool with a slide, and a festive food court inspired by traditional Japanese festivals.
Beginner Ski Slope Right Next Door
Ikenotaira Snow Park, located just next to the hotel, is a rare ski area reserved entirely for beginners. It’s perfect for first-timers or those warming up for the season. And after a few runs? Head straight back to the hotel for a relaxing soak.
