A shuttle bus stop is right outside the lodge, and free transport is available to and from Ikenotaira Hotel, the heart of 8 Peaks.
Smoke Chief
The lodge includes five twin rooms and two triple rooms, accommodating up to 16 guests. Rates cover up to six people; additional charges apply for each extra guest:
• Adults: ¥12,000 per person per night (¥15,000 during Mid Season)
• Children under 13: ¥8,400 per person per night (¥10,500 during Mid Season)
• Children sharing a bed (no extra bedding): ¥3,000 per night (flat rate)

The property features a shared dining room, a cosy playroom with picture books and comics, bath, and toilets. (Please note: the bath is not an onsen.)
There is no guest-use kitchen, and the rooms do not include kitchenettes. However, guests are welcome to bring in meals, dine out, or order from the owner.

Guests arriving via Shinkansen to Sakudaira Station or limited express to Chino Station can arrange direct transfer to the lodge.

How to get to Pension Smoke Chief
The shuttle bus from Sakudaira/Chino Station is free of charge, but advance reservation is required. Please make sure to arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure for check-in.
