8 Peaks Original Wax — Now on Sale!

The same high‑performance wax used on our 8 Peaks rental skis and snowboards is now available to buy.
Choose from two easy‑to‑use paste waxes:

Line‑up

  • COLD (‑20 °C to ‑4 °C)Tuned for high, dry snow at 1,500–2,200 metres — perfect for carving at 8 Peaks Resort.
  • NORMAL (‑20 °C to +10 °C)A versatile, all‑round option suited to ski areas across Australia.

Both blends protect the base and help resist grime build‑up, taking your skiing or riding to the next level.

Price

  • COLD (‑20 °C to ‑4 °C) — ¥2,200
  • NORMAL (‑20 °C to +10 °C) — ¥2,200

Product Details

  • Fluoro‑free and kinder to the environment
  • 100% pure paraffin paste wax, 50 g (includes application pad)
  • Pocket‑friendly and ready to use — no special tools required

How to Apply (Cold Application)

  1. Place your snowboard or skis on a level surface.
  2. Using the included pad, spread a thin, even layer over the entire base (or target zones).
  3. After 10–30 seconds, rub in firmly with the pad to bond the wax.
  4. For best results, brush tip to tail with a bronze brush using light, straight strokes. (Brush not included.)

Optional: Hot‑Wax Method

You can also iron on this paste. Apply across the base, then set your waxing iron to low (approx. 60–80 °C) and run it over the wax. Once dry, finish as you would with paraffin hot wax.

Note: Using an iron with paste increases convenience but may not last as long as traditional paraffin hot‑waxing.
