1830 Cafe – A Scenic Break at the Summit

Located right next to the summit station of Shirakaba Kogen Kokusai Ski Resort, 1830 Cafe sits at an elevation of 1,830 metres.

Take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the frozen Lake Megami while enjoying craft beer, hot wine, and freshly made pizza. And yes—there’s soft-serve ice cream too. Eating ice cream in the crisp mountain air is a unique experience in itself!

The café is a perfect spot for a ski break or simply to soak in the views. Normally, you ride the gondola up and ski or snowboard down—but if you have an All Mountain Pass, you’re welcome to ride the gondola both ways, just to enjoy the scenery and take a relaxing break.
