Shirakaba Kogen Kokusai Ski Resort is just 5 minutes away by bus, with the bus stop located at the hotel entrance. With its calm atmosphere, it is an ideal place to relax and unwind. In January 2026, the restaurant, front desk and some guest rooms were newly renovated.

There is an indoor kids’ park, which is especially popular with families travelling with young children. A coin laundry is available in the hotel as well.

Dinner is served as a course meal.

Our philosophy is to express the rich terroir of Shinshu in the very best way. Your dining experience begins with a beautifully presented selection of six appetisers blending Japanese and Western flavours, followed by a creative sashimi course featuring two kinds of salmon from Norway and Shinshu. For the main dish, enjoy a luxurious tasting of venison and wagyu, or premium Shinshu pork prepared to bring out the finest qualities of the ingredients. The meal concludes with a rich risotto finished with a deeply flavoured American sauce made from prawns — a satisfying final dish to warm both body and soul.

Breakfast is served as a Japanese-Western set meal with an elegant selection of small dishes.

The open-air bath, indoor bath and sauna are especially popular. The gently heated water is perfect for a long, relaxing soak after a day on the slopes. Views of Mt Tateshina and Shirakaba 2in1 from the hotel and guest rooms are superb.

How to get to Tateshina Lake Resort

The shuttle bus from Sakudaira/Chino Station is free of charge, but advance reservation is required. Please make sure to arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure for check-in.
